Chris studied Interior Design at the Glasgow School of Art in Scotland, and later Fine Art at the Dutch Art Institute (DAI) in Enschede. ‘In recent years my work has taken on a very wide variety of forms, including video, live performance, and installation as well as “technical research as an artistic medium”. My work has always been deeply concerned with social and political issues, and for this reason I find it very important to maintain a close connection with the environment in which I am working. THE BOOKSTORE provides an ideal opportunity to do so. Because of this, I was very happy to be asked to take part in the project.’
Within THE BOOKSTORE Chris has set up TRAPAS, taking place every Saturday at THE SHELF.
