Eva Porcuna Ferrer
Industrial Design Engineering and Product Design student. Currently doing an internship in Social Design (Photography / Design)
Designer, engineer student, conversation partner, cinephile, internet user, animal lover, flat mate, volunteer, traveler, thinker, reader, pianist in process, listener, photographer, intern.
In 2012 Eva started studying Industrial Design Engineering in Barcelona. On her second year she felt something was missing and decided to study Product Design at the same time. One of her greatest interests has always been photography and documenting experiences through it so she has always kept it in the background of her main studies.
She has always thought design can be more than a good aesthetics and products that generate new needs, that we (society) can really make a change in the world around us through the design field. She is also very interested in traveling, getting out of the comfort zone, discovering problems and proposing solutions that can make a change.
At the Bookstore Eva’s aim is to use the strengths that she also brings forward with her internship at The Beach: work in and for the neighbourhood, multi-disciplinarian, multi-cultural projects, perspective, motivation and ideas through personal experience.
